Ornamental panels for Q1 - Kings Cross, London

The cladding for the new Gateway building to the Kings Cross Development area in London is complete. Q1´s shimmering facade right at the corner of Handyside Street and York Way is designed by Coffey Architects and will add a commercial workplace to the neighborhood. We contributed laser-cut ornamental, perforated panels, and routed embossed, solid panels to the project.

Historic context

Coffey architects included to the silhouette a skewed, pitched roof, providing equal merit to each elevation and a nod to the historic warehouse and train sheds of the area. The anodized and perforated aluminum facade enlivens Q1 inside and out, offering an aesthetic easiness the whole area. Inside the building, you will find ceiling heights reaching neary 7 meters high.
