The Warner Bros' headquarters in Los Angeles were impressively expanded with the construction of the Second Century Burbank according to plans by Gehry Partners. With their "ice-white" facades, the buildings rise up like gigantic icebergs along the freeway.
The side facing the studio site pays tribute to Hollywood's golden era with a metal façade made of natural stainless steel. POHL supplied the large, individually shaped metal elements in typical Gehry style, which extend across the entire height of the storey. The surface with vibration finish reduces the shine but allows a high level of reflection without direct glare.
