Special finishes

Our brass solutions are a special highlight when it comes to the design of building envelopes and interiors. They give the object a noble and unmistakable look. These and other POHL Special Finishes are the perfect choice for exclusive metal cladding.

Brass

POHL Bronze

With POHL Bronze, we have developed a particularly elegant surface based on brass alloys that meets the highest demands in terms of design, coloring and durability. The color spectrum of POHL Bronze ranges from reddish to gold to brownish nuances, which can be individually influenced by the selection of alloys and finishes.

The special patination imitates the natural weathering process of brass through targeted oxidation. A layer of wax protects the material but still allows it to age naturally, while a lacquer finish seals the surface and preserves the existing appearance.

POHL bronze surfaces are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also durable and environmentally friendly, as they can be recycled without any loss of quality.

Stainless steel

POHL Colored Stainless Steel

Thanks to a complex finishing process, stainless steel can be dyed in any desired color. The color remains within the passive layer of the material, which makes the surface extremely durable and protects it from the effects of weathering. An effective method for imitating materials and appearances and achieving the desired aesthetic result without compromising on durability and functionality.

POHL Charcoal Matt

One result of POHL Colored Stainless Steel is POHL Charcoal Matt. This matt finish offers a timeless aesthetic with a modern charcoal look, while retaining the benefits of stainless steel. It is available in different variants as a standard or cloudy finish.

Corten steel

POHL Phoenix

For POHL Phoenix, a rust patina forms on the surface of the Corten steel sheets under the influence of the weather. The surface is characterized by a high resistance to weathering and is manufactured without paint or other chemicals.

To create a particularly even and homogeneous finish, we can pre-weather the Corten steel panels on request.

POHL Etched

Whether diffuse or precise, large-scale or accentuated - etched stainless steel surfaces offer a unique opportunity for anyone looking for an exclusive and unusual appearance for their building. The special etching process gives the structure more dimension and opens up a wide range of design options.
